Troy Anderson, born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas in 1948, he is a traditional Cherokee painter of contemporary realism in acrylics.
"I hardly ever throw away a picture. If I get a splotch on it, I can make a tree out of it, or a redbird. Sometimes an accident works out for the better."
Anderson is a member of the American Indian and Cowboy Artists, winning its gold medal in 1981. His own studio sells his paintings and bronze works.
This collections includes 6 of Andersons paintings and 19 of his bronzes.
